Consistent attendance is vital to your child’s academic success and connection to the school community. However, we understand that illnesses, appointments, and family emergencies happen.

If your student is going to be absent or arriving late, please notify the school as soon as possible.

How to Report an Absence

To clear your child’s absence, please email the Attendance Office directly at traina_attendance@jsdtracy.com.

Information to Include

When sending your email, please include the following information:

• Student’s first and last name
• Date or dates of the absence
• Reason for the absence, such as illness or medical appointment
